Food Styling

So this is my 350th post! Wow. Time flies.. but when you do things that you like, you don't count time or any efforts you've made. So suddenly it's been my second year of blogging. I hope this will continue long enough, and each post will give you good thing, even for just a little! 

Awhile ago, a photographer whom I happen to know and worked with for tabloid NOVA (a real cool-awesome-pro one, unlike myself) Mas Agus Dwianto, published some of his work in Facebook, and there I saw some of my work on his photos. Suddenly I miss this job.. getting my hands dirty playing with food that feels like a sinful pleasure ( remember when we were kids, our mom keep telling us not to  play with our food? Now they pay me for doing it! ) 

Now you understand why I love this job :-)

Winter Wonderland

And this one was for a wedding magazine photoshoot. Winter themed with some creative touch, we tried to capture the freezing cold and turn it into something beautiful.

Food Styling

I helped Tabloid Nova for styling the food once in awhile. This time it's about home cooking, an upgrade version of daily menu, so to say. And here's a sneak on what happens in the kitchen.

Japan in Black and White ( and Reds)

Spotted the reds of Japan.
Red is generally called "aka (赤)" in Japanese. There are many traditional shades of red: the Japanese gave each shade of red its own elegant name in the old days. Shuiro (vermilion), akaneiro (madder red), enji (dark red), karakurenai (crimson) and hiiro (scarlet) are among of them.

Sunny Room

It was a big pleasure and honor to work with Ms. Natalia Djody, a very fine lady with a bunch of spirit and lotsa things to admire.
This time we're creating flowers and decor for a bachelor pad - for LARAS magz. It was such a fabulous afternoon!
