It Takes Whatever It Takes

24hrs a day  sometimes seems never enough, while we had to chase the time to finish the work of making beautiful set for an event. We have to steal a few moment just for taking a break, because the work is enormous, and the guest cannot be left waiting. When you think decorating is a fancy job; think again.

"It took a lot of work to be perfect.
If you didnt want to break a sweat, there was no point in even bothering"

Fort Vredeburg

Had a nice time in a quick stop to this fort for a lunch - during my last short trip to Yogyakarta. Made some snaps which, I hope, will make you wanting to visit this beautiful fort.

Visit its official blog to know how to get there and some events, here,
or a brief story from Wikipedia about the fort, here.

Somewhere in Yogyakarta

Found this old bauhaus-ish building, empty yet still intact and stand strong though it's been there for ages,  I suppose. It looks like a school building, but from the people I met there, this building once was used for drying the tobacco leaves.

Everyday Life of Yogyakarta

I happened to have a very quick visit to Jogja, still tired of some less night sleep, and must rushing back to Jakarta, but I still need to share some souvenir from this old city for you. So, here you are, some everyday life I've seen from a car.

Well Weathered

A small cafe in Bandung. Somewhere near Burangrang street, if I'm not mistaken :-)
Not a surprise design, but likely well thought with warmth in mind. Lovely.

Bandung, Torn & Worn

Old and tired, that's what I see.
But the beauty, be it just a glimpse that remains, stays.

you learn history's one true lesson:
that history fades.
Nothing sticks together for very long
without immense effort..."
