That Coffeeshop

It's just such a coincidence. I don't really like its coffee - it gives me stomachache every time I drink it. Too acidic. But incidentally I took some pictures of Starbucks and I kinda like it. So guys, once again, this is not an ad or such :-)

The Little Fish Market

It's not the kind of any fish market you've been to. It's small yet lively, so clean and inviting. Nijyo Fish Market in Sapporo is 100years old and still as new as it is, filled with impressive specimens of crab as well as an assortment of unusual fish. And the king crab is so big and juicy and sweet!

We bought some little meals just to sample.. The kind merchant served us in a small nice table one boiled hairy crab, and some more shells, served raw with sauce. fresh and tasty. Still i prefer my food to be cooked :-)

Winter Light III

Riding Shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka, another side of Japan caught my sight. And what impressed me more, was the sun rays beneath the clouds. Mesmerizing.

Food Galore

Three weeks weren't enough to give me decent experience of Japanese food. But at least I have tasted some, and none was disappointing. Despite of it's unreadable menu and unfamiliar names, I know now, that wherever it might be, they only serve none but the best ingredients. And the tea with its smokey taste, and sake, and the rice, uhm.. yum.. I'm lost for words...

Food Stalls

Some traditional delicacies seller. Too bad you cannot hear how they shout and keep saying things whether you buy or not. Irritating at first, but then once you get used to it, it's like a traditional music played everywhere. Now I miss it already :-)
